Ashley Peterson Horse Training is focused on providing high-quality dependable horse training backed by many years of experience.  If you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact me.
My training structure is based around achieving true softness and a willing attitude.   Regardless on what discipline you and your horse are working towards, learning how to use themselves correctly is of major importance to me.  This helps you and your horse achieve its highest level of performance both mentally and physically.

Though out my career I have started over 1000 horses ranging from kids ponies to world champions. I strongly believe that how a horse is started under saddle sets them up for the rest of their riding career. I take what I have learned through my experience as well as from other top trainers and use them everyday in my successful colt starting and more advanced training program. I attended College in River Falls, WI where I got started in reining and have ridden for other successful trainers in the industry.

I show primarily in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota, Nebraska, and the surrounding states. I have been successful in earning points, National Reining Horse Association money earnings, multiple Bronze Medallions,  National Reined Cow Horse money earnings, Multiple Derby and Futurity wins.  I fully enjoy coaching novice and amateur riders primarily in reining, ranch, cow horse, and all around events.
I am very involved in two year old Futurities such as the MN and Dakota 50/50, earning high placing checks each year. I qualify just about every horse I show for The Quarter Horse World Championship Show, regularly win Circuit Champion and High Point awards at breed shows.
